a Close the Top Cover if it is open.
b Load a plastic card (see Plastic Cards on page 40).
c Do one of the following:
Press for Scan to PC (USB Connect).
Press or for Scan to PC (Network Connect) or Scan to FTP.
NOTE
• You need to assign the Scan to PC (Network Connect) feature to or before starting Scan
to PC (Network Connect). See Scan to PC (Network Connect) on page 132.
• You need to assign the Scan to FTP feature to or before starting Scan to FTP. See Scan
Documents to an FTP Server on page 116.
d Press . The machine starts scanning.

a Register a shortcut (see Card Scan on page 164).
b Close the Top Cover if it is open.
c Load a plastic card (see Plastic Cards on page 40).
d Press your configured shortcut.
e Press Start. The machine starts scanning.
