Answering system
Recording and playing memos
Memos are messages you record yourself. They are saved, played back and
deleted exactly like incoming messages. You can record a memo as a reminder
to yourself, or leave a message for someone else using the same telephone.
To record a memo
Press MENU/SELECT when in idle mode to enter the main menu.
Press DIR or CID to scroll to >ANSWERING SYS, then
press MENU/SELECT.
Press DIR or CID to scroll to >RECORD MEMO.
Press MENU/SELECT. The system announces, “Record
after the tone. Press 5 when you are done.
Speak towards the microphone on the handset after a long beep. You can
record a memo up to four minutes. Memos shorter than two seconds are
not recorded.
Press 5 to stop recording. The system announces, “Recorded“ to confirm
the recording has finished.
NOTE: If the answering system memory is full, when you press MENU/SELECT in Step 4,
the answering system announces, “Memory is full.
To play back memos
Memos are stored as messages. See Message playback on page 44 for
instructions on playback and deletion.
