The Basics of Shooting and Playback
Step 4 Play Back Images
1 Press the c (shooting/playback mode)
button.
The camera switches to playback mode and the last image
saved will be displayed full-frame.
2 Use the multi selector to select an image to
display.
Display the previous image: J
Display the next image: K
Remove the memory card from the camera to play back
images saved in the camera’s internal memory. C is
displayed near the current image number.
To return to shooting mode, press the c (shooting/
playback mode) button, shutter-release button, or the b
(e movie-record) button.

Images may be displayed briefly at low resolution while being read from the memory card or
internal memory.
When images in which the face (A56) was detected at the time of shooting are displayed,
depending upon the orientation of the detected face, the images may be automatically rotated for
playback display (except images captured using Take a series of pictures and Shoot at intervals).
