BROIL
Broiling uses an intense, radiant heat to cook food.
Both the inner and outer broil elements heat during
full broiling. Only the inner broil element heats during
center broiling. The element(s) cycle on and off in
intervals to maintain the oven temperature. The meat
probe cannot be used with this mode.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Your oven is designed for
CLOSED DOOR Broiling.
To set the oven to Broil.
Place your food on the
broiling pan grid.
Touch CLEAR/OFF.
Touch Broil.
Touch Full or Center.
Touch High or Med or Low.
Touch START.
Broil
Full Center
High Med Low
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The heating element(s) turn off immediately when the
door is opened. They will turn on again in
approximately 5 seconds after the door is closed.
If you leave the oven door open for more than 30
minutes, all settings are canceled.
Touch CLEAR/OFF to cancel Broil at any time.
NOTE:
After any cooking cycle has been completed cooling
fans will operate to protect the control panel. This is
normal.
The size, weight, thickness, starting temperature,
and your preference of doneness will affect broiling
times. This guide is based on meats at refrigerator
temperature. It is recommended to preheat the
oven for about 3 minutes before placing food in the
oven.
For best results when broiling, use a pan designed
for broiling (Refer to Fig. 1.)
