Caller ID operation
How caller ID works
If you subscribe to caller ID service
provided by your local telephone company,
information about each caller appears
between the first and second ring. If an
incoming call is answered before the
information appears on the screen, no
information is stored or displayed.
This telephone deletes the earliest entry
when the log is full to make room for new
calls. The call log stores information about
the last 80 incoming calls.
NOTES:
The caller’s name (up to 16 characters) is sent by your local telephone
company if you subscribe to caller ID/call waiting service.
The area code of the caller is not displayed if it is programmed as the home
area code.
If you do not answer a call, the screen displays the call information for about
10 seconds after the ringing stops.
